So, I had this idea after I left a "top walkers" luncheon" for the Cape Fear Heart Walk in which we were talking bout the AHA's start walking program for businesses and company's. Here was an easy way for folks to get started getting healthy and it did not cost a dollar. No gym fees, no fancy clothes..nothing but getting out and walking.
UNCW now has this amazing trail system that I have been using and I sent an email with some of the information below to some folks on campus to see if this would be something that folks would be interested in. Many said yes and one in particular, the amazing Michelle Martin said that UNCW was actually told that we had to do a wellness program for employees and that they had been working on this cool smaller trail on campus. The problem was they did not have money left over to tell folks about it.
Well, thank God for my big mouth cause I am THRILLED! LOL!
So, let's start walking!

Below that are the maps of the inner trails and one map of the campus.
